Description
BEST Roasted Barley lends the beer a distinct, deep dark colour. Depending on the proportion used in the grain bill, it enhances the flavour profile with bold roasted tones and bitter notes similar to rich black coffee or Italian espresso. It also contributes notably to improved foam stability. The barley is roasted directly without malting so if you're brewing for a German beer competition or similar, be aware that its use for beer production does not comply with the German Purity Law.
Use: Ideal for typical Irish and Scottish stout beers and for intensifying the color and aroma of dark ales, porters and dark beers.
