Description
BEST Black Malt eXtra is the darkest malt in the BEST Black Malt series. The intensive roasting process produces colours and flavour components that give the beer a black to deep black colour and nuances of black coffee or strong espresso depending on the amount used. BEST Black Malt eXtra does not make the foam darker either and complies fully with the specifications of the German Reinheitsgebot.
Use: For all beer styles to intensify the colour, for Schwarzbier, Bock, Alt, Brown Ale, Porter and all other very dark to deep black beer styles with an intensive roast note.
Rate: Up to 5% of the grain bill.
