Description
Ekuanot® is a standout hop variety thanks to its high oil content and complex range of characteristics. Developed by the Hop Breeding Company through a cross between Warrior and a wild hop variety to achieve higher yields, the result is a vibrant hop with bright, zesty flavours and a bold aroma. Ekuanot® offers an exotic cocktail of fruity flavours which often includes grapefruit, lemongrass and mandarin tang as well as ripe guava, lychee, mango, pineapple and passionfruit with blackcurrants, gooseberries and grapes. Since its release in 2014, Ekuanot has become a popular choice for American Pale Ales and IPAs, and performs exceptionally well as a single-hop variety. Its versatility extends further, making it a great option for sours and pilsners too.
