Description
BESTMALZ BEST Chocolate offers an excellent introduction to brewing with roasted malts. Thanks to its mild roasting process, strong bitter notes are mostly eliminated, as shown by its particularly low pyrazine content. As a result, BEST Chocolate is well suited for creating smooth, dark to black beers with malt bill proportions of up to 10%, without imparting a harsh or bitter aftertaste. The beer’s foam also retains a light appearance.
Use: For all beer styles to intensify the colour, for Schwarzbier, Bocks, Alt, Brown Ale, Porter, brown beers, Stouts, and all other dark to black beer styles with a mild roasted or coffee note.
