A new smoked malt addition to the BESTMALZ range alongside BESTMALZ BEST Cherry Ember Smoked Malt
BEST Beechwood Smoked malt is smoked over the finest beechwood and imparts a typical campfire flavour to beer. This malt is suitable for both beer and whiskey production.
Use: Ideal for beer and whiskey production. Bock, Whiskey, Dark Beers, Export, Porter, Smoked Beer & Wheat Beer.
Rate: Recommended to initially use 10% in the malt bill, this then can be increased to 100% due to its high enzymatic power. It should be noted that the full smoky aroma generally develops only after fermentation and cellaring.
Flavour: Campfire smoke, Smoked ham.
